Frequently Ask Questions

On our guided ordering page, tell us the address of the property, the services requested, and what time and day to arrive. Simply CLICK HERE to get started! You’ll set up your account and provide any access instructions for us from there, and then you’ll get an order confirmation once the order is submitted. If we’ve got any questions we’ll reach out from there to make sure the property goes to market looking its absolute best!

As a general guide, it’s best to make sure that the home is clean, free from personal photos or other identifiable items of political or religious affiliation, that furniture is minimal and arranged to make the space as open as possible, that any burnt out light bulbs are replaced, ceiling fans are off, pets are secured, food bowls/toys/litter boxes are hidden or at least removable during the photo session, and windows/blinds are adjusted to let as much natural light in as possible. We’ll go over details on an individual basis too, so don’t worry if we need to do something different, that’s no problem. Make sure to tell us as many details about pets, kids, who will be present during the photo session, any highlight features, views, or unique lighting that needs to be turned on, and any specific angles or photos that need to be captured.

Whether it’s photos, videos, or 3D virtual tours, the sooner we deliver your content the better for everyone! The moment we get back to the studio, we’re processing media until the next appointment. For the majority of our packages, your media will be delivered and ready for your review by the end of the next business day. We use a delivery service right here on austinrocksproductions.com that allows our clients to securely view their content, pay for services, and download their media. When placing your first order, you’ll simply make a quick login to keep your content secure.

As soon as photo or video tours are available for review, they’re able to be downloaded immediately upon paying the order total.

We get it! Life is unpredictable, and selling a home is a huge undertaking with all the extra work, packing, complex scheduling, and general chaos. When contractors are late and issues arise, sometimes you’ve got to move things around. Rescheduling is no problem, let us know at least the day before your appointment. Our schedule fills up fast. If we need to cancel or reschedule on the day of the appointment or we’re unable to complete a session once we arrive, then a cancellation charge is applicable for 25% of the total of the services ordered.

We take amazing photos and videos, even if the weather is misbehaving a little. We’ve photographed homes during light to moderate rain, during freezes, and even during snowfall (yes, here in Austin, Texas). *Due to safety and FAA regulations, aerial services are always subject to conditions such as high winds, cloud ceiling, air traffic, and precipitation* but all of our standard services are able to be completed in all but the worst of weather. That being said, if we know that bad weather is looming, and you and your client would prefer to reschedule, then let us know as soon as you can, and we’ll get things taken care of!
